TODD HAGER

Todd Jacob Hager, 41, beloved son, brother, nephew, step-uncle, grandson and friend, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023, due to a hiking accident.

He was born June 25, 1982, in Wheeling, WV. Todd graduated from John Marshall High School in 2000 and in 2002 graduated from Northern Community College with a Culinary Arts degree. He was an active and devout member of St. Paul's Evangelical Church, where he loved to volunteer. Todd was employed with The Greater Wheeling Coalition for the Homeless as a Youth Outreach Case Manager. In his free time he enjoyed hiking and was an avid musician, playing multiple instruments and playing in a band for over ten years.

Todd is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Valsia A. (Johnny) Salmons and Melvin P. (Rose) Rose and grandparents, Harry L. (Wilma) Oser and Robert L. (Nancy) Hostutler.

Left to cherish his memory is his father, Jerry R. Hager; his mother, Judith L. (Hostutler) Noll (Edwin); his sister, Jenna R. (Hager) Wade (Eric); uncles, Clifford A. Hostutler, Elvis B. Flowers; aunts, Penny A. Claycomb, Darla J. Hostutler, Katernia K. Postlewait; Dianna M. (Kenny) Ward, Debbie Heckman and Rhonda R. Risden; step-brother, Joseph A. (Wendy) Noll; step-sister, Jennifer A. (Gregory) Todd; step-uncle, Vincent (Kay) Oser; step-aunt, Deborah A. (Lloyd) Retttig and God parents, Gary L. Bowman and Debbie A. Kunz. In addition, he is also survived by numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, step-nieces, step-nephew and countless friends.

Family and friends will be received for a celebration of Todd's life on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 11 am – 12 pm at St. Paul's Evangelical Church, 3741 Wood St., Wheeling.
