Traci Shawn Cawthon-Miller, 52, of Moundsville, WV, was ushered into the presence of the Lord, Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Wheeling Hospital-WVU, surrounded by family.
She was born June 30, 1971, a daughter of Rev. Tim and Liz (Shannon) Cawthon. Traci was a 1990 graduate of John Marshall High School and served on the class reunion committee throughout the years. She was an active member of Abundant Life Baptist Church. Traci was known for her giving and caring nature, always willing to drop everything to help those she loved. This was evident with all of her work with the Home School Co-op, Relay for Life, Cory's Kids with the Soup Kitchen in Wheeling, the House of the Carpenter and of course helping with the Boy Scout Troop #82 with her sons.
Traci is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Rev. Bill and Mary Shannon; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Midge Cawthon and her mother-in-law, Betty Ann Seyler Abbott.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by the love of her life, Michael Miller; her three sons, Kaleb, Christian and Corban Miller; two siblings, Beth Ann (Edward) Hinebaugh and Timothy (Michelle) Cawthon, Jr.; her life-long friends, Kari Ledbetter-Stillion and Holly Richards; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 2 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m. at Abundant Life Baptist Church, 976 Chapel Hill Road, Triadelphia, WV.
