Cynthia Darlene Kirkhart, age 77, of New Martinsville, WV passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital, Wheeling, WV.
She was born September 29, 1946, in Clarksburg, WV, the daughter of the late Jennings Burl and Laura Jean (Earhart) Locke.
Cynthia was a former beautician and employee of Convenient Food Mart. She was a member of the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Paden City, a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star #50 lodge, New Martinsville, White Shrine of Jerusalem, Order of Amaranth of Sistersville and VFW Aux of Sistersville.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Thomas B. Kirkhart; a daughter Melissa (Donald) Shafer of New Martinsville; 2 step grandsons, Tavian and Geoffery Shafer; a aunt Shirley of California.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with Eastern Star service at 6:00 pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, WV
Private funeral services and entombment will be held at the convenience of the family.
