Daryl Wayne Cotton, 71, of Wheeling, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 11, 2024 in Wheeling Hospital surrounded by family.
He was born in Glendale, WV son of the late Gerald and Sarah Marie (Barger) Cotton.
Daryl was a Christian, Veteran of the WV Army National Guard and was the Owner of Extermatech Pest Control. He was an avid book collector, a hobby he shared with his son Derek and enjoyed classic films. Most important to Daryl, and his passion, was his family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Lee Dalek, Lauren Laming and Sarah Lynne Bonar.
Daryl is survived by his wife of 51 years, Terri (Baum) Cotton; daughter, Christy (JR) Bennington, son, Derek Cotton; 2 granddaughters, Sydney and Riley Bennington; many nieces and nephews and his dog "Benny".
The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation on Sunday January 14, 2024 from 1 pm until the time of the memorial service at 4 pm at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling (304-242- 2311)
