Emma L. (Leek) Thompson, age 86, of New Martinsville, WV died Thursday, January 4, 2024, in New Martinsville Health Care Center, New Martinsville, WV.
She was born March 9, 1937, in Wetzel County, WV the daughter of the late William and Leona (Lewis) Leek.
She was a homemaker; and loved attending church at the nursing home.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert "Buster" Thompson; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
Survivors include 1 son Steve Leek of New Martinsville: several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Monday from 10 am until time of service at 12 pm at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville.
Interment will follow in Paden Memorial Gardens, Paden City, WV.
