Harris, Sr., Gregory Vincent, 65, formerly of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at his home.
He was born May 21, 1958, in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Robert and Ruth Thompson Harris.
Gregory was the retired owner of Best Auto & Home Sales, Bridgeport, OH and St. Clair Village Mobile Homes. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and member of Elm Grove United Methodist Church.
He always told you what was on his mind, he never held anything back. He was always there for you if needed, and never met a stranger. He loved watching football, especially his Pittsburgh Steelers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Samuel Harris, and sister, Joyce Oakley.
Gregory is survived by his son, Greg (Kayla) Harris, Jr.; sister, Jackie (Sam) Jerrome; 4 grandchildren Desirae, Brynlee, Axl & Cade Harris; and many nieces & nephews.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 2-6 PM & again on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311) with Reverend Debra Dague officiating. Entombment will follow in Park View Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Wheeling, WV.
