Margaret Ann Burger Strome, 94, of Wheeling, WV passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Continuous Care Center.
She was born May 16, 1929, in Mansfield, OH, the daughter of the late Albert L. and Blanche Freehafer Burger.
She was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School, class of 1947, and moved to Wheeling in 1949. She retired from Wheeling Jesuit College and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Questers Club. She enjoyed playing Bridge, Scrabble, and doing crossword puzzles.
She is survived by two daughters, Marcia (Bill) Beck of Elizabethtown, PA and Nancy Michalski (Steve Brown) of Columbus, OH; four grandchildren, Andrew, Laura, Allison, and Marek; and great-grandchildren, Matthew, Brindley, Trace, Layna, Elias, and Margo.
Per Margaret's wishes, a graveside service will be held in Mansfield, OH. There will be no visitation. Interment will be at Mansfield Memorial Park. Arrangements by Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Wheeling, WV (304-242- 2311).
