Robert Joseph Becker, age 77, of Wheeling, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital.
He was born October 11, 1946 in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Harold and Martha Baney Becker.
Robert was a retired manager for Glessner Enterprises Exxon & Casino; a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran; enjoyed camping, fishing, and working on cars.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Andrew Becker; sister Martha Wurtzbacher; and brother John Becker.
Survivors include his loving wife of 14 years, Deborah Becker; two sons: Robert Becker and Harold (Kim) Bowman, both of Wheeling; four daughters: Amy (David) Lash of Colerain, OH, Brandi Becker of Wheeling, Eliza Bowman of Wheeling, Cheryl (David) Holpp of Columbus, OH; three sisters: Shirley Hans of Grandville, OH, Linda (Chuck) Schleicher of Martins Ferry, OH, Rose (Steve) Kendle of Harrisburg, PA; two brothers: Harold (Joyce) Becker of Beverly, WV and Mike Becker of Columbus, OH; seven grandchildren, five great – grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews.
Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4pm & 6-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1 Ridgecrest Road, Bethlehem/Wheeling where funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00am with Pastor Mark Zelewicz officiating & the West Alexander Legion Post 0656 conducting military services.
Interment in West Alexander Cemetery, Pennsylvania.
