Rodger W. Postlethwait, age 77, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV.
He was born February 11, 1946, in New Martinsville, WV, son of the late William and Eva Jane (Bolen) Postlethwait.
Rodger was a retired foreman from the former Ormet Corp with 42 years of service. He was Methodist by faith, a member of the Moose Lodge #931, and was an avid outdoorsman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Bonita Tuttle.
Survivors include 2 sons, Matt (Beth) Postlethwait of Galena, OH and Ben (Amy) Postlethwait of Belpre, OH; 1 daughter Wendy (Brian) Carr of Charleston, WV; significant other Nancy Nice; 4 grandchildren, Gabe Rine, Mitch Rine, Kelsy Rine and Owen Postlethwait. A long time Best Friend, Don Ritz.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 3:00 - 7:00 pm and Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, WV with Rev. Stephen Rector officiating. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery, Alma, WV.
