Shirley Ann Foose, of Wheeling, WV, age 85, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024, at home with family by her side.
She was born January 3, 1939, in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Eugene and Rose (Adams) Bisceglia, Sr. Shirley was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Our Lady of Seven Dolors Altar Society, St. Vincent de Paul Funeral Luncheon Committee and the Sisters of St. Joseph Auxiliary. She was loved by not only her family, but by her club, Wellness Center, church and school friends and former co-workers.
In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert "Bob" Foose (2018); her brother, Eugene Bisceglia, Jr.; mother-in-law, Edna Foose; sister-in-law, Sheila; brother-in-law, Tom Flatley and a great-nephew, Nick Bisceglia.
Shirley is survived by her two daughters, Denise Stevick of Wheeling, and Michele and her husband, Al Privott of Mooresville, NC; three grandchildren, Rachael Stevick, Mack and Tighe Privott; a sister-in-law Carol Flatley, and several loving nieces and nephews, including Lisa Jorden, Mike Bisceglia, Dave Bisceglia and Amy Kline and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Family and friends will be received for a memorial gathering, Saturday, January 27, 2024, at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, from 10 am until time of Mass of Christian burial at 12 pm, with Rev. Jeeson Staphan officiating.
