Wanda Marie Schmid, age 76, of Moundsville, WV died Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in WVU Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV.
She was born June 27, 1947 in Marshall County, WV the daughter of the late James and Pansy Allmond Hall.
She was a member of both the Eagles and American Legion Auxiliary; and she enjoyed gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Elva Anderson and Mildred Cheatham; and two brothers, James Hall, Jr. and Samuel Hall, Sr.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Glen Michael Schmid, Jr.; a son, Charles (Tammy) Schultz; a daughter, Glenna (Jack) Pirner; two sisters, Nancy Parks and Shirley Holmes; a brother, Robert Hall; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11am with Rev. Tony Romano officiating.
Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
