Catherine "Jean" Tennant, age 89 of Moundsville, WV died Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at home.
She was born December 11, 1934 in Kingwood, WV the daughter of the late Lewis and Ellen Mae Hartman Richmond.
She was retired from Verizon; was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, Moundsville and Telephone Pioneer's; and her greatest joy was her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Tennant; and a sister, Rita Richmond.
Survivors include a daughter, Lynell (Tom) Rine of Proctor, WV; a grandson, James Kearns; two great-granddaughters, Madison and Jaylynn; a great-great grandson, Easton James; and several nieces and nephews including a nephew, Lou (Debbie) Richmond.
Graveside Services and Interment will be held Friday at 11am at Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville with Rev. Wesley Howsare officiating.
