EVERETT SIMMONS

Everett Herbert Simmons, 83, of Sistersville, WV left this world on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Sistersville General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Everett was born September 12, 1940, in New Martinsville, WV son of the late Otis Paul and Clarice Pearl (Gilbert) Simmons.

He was a retired crane operator for the former Ormet Corp., founder of Photography by Simmons, enjoyed painting, yard work and was a member of the Sistersville Church of Christ.

Survived by his wife of sixty years, Brenda (Hixenbaugh) Simmons; son, Mike (Jo Beth) Simmons of New Martinsville, WV; daughter, Diane (Tom) Lumadue of St. Albans, WV; grandchildren, Drew (Lee Taylor) Simmons of Herndon, VA, Dillon (Kayla) Simmons of Dillsburg, PA, Luke Lumadue of Emigrant, MT and Anna Lumadue of St. Albans, WV and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial in the Antioch Christian Church Cemetery with Greg Yost officiating.
