FRANKLIN TRADER

Franklin Delano Roosevelt Trader, 87, of Colliers, WV left this world on Friday, February 23, 2024, at his son, Tom and Doris Trader's home in Paden City, WV.

Franklin was born on November 22, 1936, in Proctor Creek, WV, a son of the late Frank and Lula (Butcher) Trader. In addition to his parents Franklin is preceded in death by his beloved wife Esta Ramona (Hurst) Trader on March 19, 2019; a brother, Johnny Trader; and six sisters, Mae, Velma, Irene, Pearl, Lucy, and Leevy.

Franklin proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. He was a retired custodian for the Brooke County Board of Education with 25 years of service. He was a proud Husband, Dad, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather.

Franklin is survived by two children, Thomas (Doris) Trader of Paden City, WV, Kathy Clark of Follansbee, WV; four grandchildren, Thomas (Miranda) Trader Jr., Matthew (Amanda) Trader, Chelsea (Robert) Browning, and Heather (Eric) Hancher; five great grandchildren, Courtny, Aaron, Nathan, Violet, and Remington.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 2-6 p.m. and again on Wednesday, February 28 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Mullenbach Funeral Home,669 Main St. Follansbee, WV 26037.

Interment will follow at St. John Haven of Rest Cemetery in Colliers, WV.

Full military honors will be conducted by the United States Army and the Ohio Valley Veteran Memorial Squad.
