Jerry Curtis Casey, 79, of Wheeling, WV passed away on February 9, 2024 at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born on October 7, 1944 to the late Grover C. And Nella (Adkins) Casey. He was also preceded in death by his wife Catherine U. (Donahue) Casey.
Jerry was a retired foreman at Strauss Scrapyard, graduated from Bellaire High School, loved to target shoot, & Yahtzee. Jerry served eight years in the Army, served one tour in Vietnam and two tours in Germany.
He is survived by one brother Russel F. Casey of Wheeling; his late Feline Fury Baby FiFi; long time special friend Elaine Rose Roskovich of Lansing; his best friend of many years Joseph "Troy" (Vera) Roskovich of Bridegport, who give many thanks and heartfelt gratitude for the years of friendship, companionship and care of Jerry, step-son Ralph "Spike" Hoskins of Wheeling; and extended family neice Kelly Ann Casey; and cousin Derrick (Janay) Blackington of Wheeling.
Friends will be received at Schuetz Funeral Home, 4719 Jacob St., Wheeling, WV on February 18, from 4-8 p.m. with service at 6 p.m. with Rev. Jim Monogioudis officiating. Full Millitary services to follow.
