Karen E. Hott Hunley, 75, of Valley Grove, WV, died Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at home.
She was born November 28, 1948, in Burnsville, PA, daughter of the late Ralph and Gladys Smith Hott.
Karen was a graduate of McGuffey High School and married Walter "Bud" Hunley on July 8, 2000.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Hunley on February 19, 2022; sister, Nancy Stollar; brother, Daniel Hott, Sr.; and brother-in- law, John Stollar, Sr.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Jo (JC) Strange of Indiana; two stepchildren, David (Diane) Hunley and Scott (Marcie) Hunley, both of Wheeling; two grandchildren, Ashley Barnett and Billy (Mandy) Barnett; four step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchild- dren, Addison, Aiden and Camden Barnett and Austin, Aiden, Abby, Haylee and Ary; brother, Eugene (Donna) Hott; and sister, Louise (Wade) Stewart; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Claysville Christian Church, 128 Church St., Claysville, PA 15323.
