Kathryn "Kay" McGee, age 96, a resident of Elm Grove, WV, entered into eternal life on Monday, February 12, 2024, at home while surrounded by her children.
"Kay" was born in Hartshorne, Oklahoma, on July 20, 1927 to John and Mary Gulash and relocated to Shadyside, Ohio while she was in grade school. Kay worked for Ohio Edison at the R.E. Burger Power Station in the accounting department. Kay was married to Vincent "Jim" McGee on May 21, 1949.
Over the years, Kay was very involved in numerous activities at St. Vincent de Paul Church including, Cursillo Movement, Christ Renews His Parish, Fish Fries, School Counsel, Parish Counsel and Eucharist Minister. Kay enjoyed traveling the U.S. and Europe with family. Evenings were spent enjoying a favorite pastime making needlepoint art for the family and watching EWTN.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Gulash; husband, Vincent "Jim" McGee; son Mark McGee; grandson Ryan McGee; brothers, Michael (Sophie) Gulash and John (Kathryn) Gulash, Thom Gulash; seven sisters, Mary Gulash, Helen (Steve) Kukura, Verna (Albert) Ostroski, Annie (Nicholas) Mochary, Joanna (Alex) Kish, Elizabeth (John) Mastalerz, and Cecelia (Bernard) Boczek.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Dan (Samantha) McGee, Mary (Greg) Johnson, Jane (Fred) Mueller, Jason (Deanna) McGee; daughter in law, Kathy McGee; sister in law Connie Gulash; grandchildren Amanda (Nathan) Pletcher, Andrew (Carolyn) Johnson, Chad (Michelle) Johnson, Michael Mueller (fiancee Felicia Secaur), Luke Mueller; Kennedy and Kathryn McGee; great-great grandchildren Sophie and Myles Pletcher, Ellie and Madeleine Johnson, Caiden, Mason and Myiah Johnson; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian burial will be held, Monday, February 19, 2024 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, at 11 am with Father Jeeson Stephan as celebrant and Monsignor Paul Hudock as co-celebrant, followed by interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Kay's most cherished moments were visits with family and friends at her home, where every day was a celebration.
