Marlene LaVerne Husick passed away on February 22, 2024, at home in Savannah, GA, surrounded by her family. Marlene was born June 19, 1936, in Wheeling, WV.
Marlene was preceded in death by her husband Michael P. Husick, her daughter Sharon Hope, and her parents Charles E. and LaVerne (Schafer) Ballard.
Marlene is survived by her three daughters Susan Marlene (Thomas) Donathan of Beech Bottom, WV; Cynthia Diane Husick of Savannah, GA; Cheryl Darlene (John) Varney of Bloomingdale, GA; her son Scott Michael Husick of Savannah, GA; her brother Charles E (Charlotte) Ballard of Elm Grove WV; 10 grandchildren, and16 great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at the Altmeyer Funeral Homes-Elm Grove Chapel on Monday, February 26 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, at 11:00 am at the Elm Grove Chapel with a committal service at the Bishop's Chapel at Mt. Calvary Cemetery and entombment directly following at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Garden Mausoleum.
