Nancy Ellen Kirby Geimer, 71, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV.
She was born March 20, 1952, in Martins Ferry, OH, daughter of the late John Henry and Audrey Ellen Davis Kirby.
Nancy was a graduate of OVGH Nursing School and retired as the Director of Nursing at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was a very active member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She was a crafter who loved traveling to the beach, especially Hilton Head Island. She was very active and always on the go. She loved her family, and especially being a grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant brother, John Kirby, Jr.; and brother, Timothy Kirby.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Richard L. Geimer; four sisters, Linda (David) Shaffer, Melodie (Wayne) Eaton, Jennifer (Tom) Malisko & Judy (Jimmy) Virgin; brother, Thomas Kirby; two daughters, Erin (John) Bumgardner & Jessica (Tad) Lucas; and a grandson, Dylan Lucas.
Friends will be received for a memorial visitation on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 12:30 PM until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 PM at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2 Richmond Avenue, Wheeling, WV, with Pastor Deborah Gable officiating.
Entombment will be at the convenience of the family in Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
