Catherine Virginia Collins, age 103, of Moundsville, WV died Thursday, March 28, 2024 in Moundsville Health Care Center.
She was born September 2, 1920 in Marshall County, WV the daughter of the late Pete and Francis Balik Mucheck.
She was a Catholic by faith; was previously employed at both the former Quality Bakery and Riley's Motel; and she loved cleaning.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester "Earl" Collins; a sister, Anna Myers; and two brothers, John and Joe Mucheck.
Survivors include a son, Earl (Doris Jean) Collins of Moundsville; three grandchildren, Joyce Duty of Middleborne, WV, Teresa (Ron) Rush of Sistersville, WV, and Jolene Collins of Moundsville; four great-grandchildren, Jessica Tawney, Dustin (Miranda) Tawney, Preston Cutler, and Cadie Collins; a great-grandson, Brayden Baker; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11am until time of Funeral Service at 1pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundville with Pastor Don Rush officiating.
Interment in Riverview Cemetery Mausoleum, Moundsville.
