Yandrich, Joan Lee Knight, 88, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024 at WVU Continuous Care Center.
She was born December 1, 1935, in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Otto William and Lila May Brieding Knight.
Joan was the retired Administrative Assistant for Elm Grove Heating and a Presbyterian by faith.
She always gave the advice to give 100% to everything you were involved with. Joan was kind & nice to all she met, and she always put everybody before herself. Her family & grandkids were her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Yandrich; and sister, Lila Louise Savchuk.
Joan is survived by her four children, Daniel M. (Mary Ann) Yandrich, Douglas E. Yandrich, Lori L. (Jeff) Duvall & Robin L. (Tim Scott) Thorn; six grandchildren, Matt & Mark Thorn, Alex (Courtney) & Elaine (Ryan) Duell, Brian (Mel) Duvall, and Michelle (Joe) McCauley; 8 great- grandchildren; and 2 special nieces, Gwen Porter & Sherry Miller.
Services & interment were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements made by Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (#304-242-2311).
