Judith Ann Fetty, born on May 9, 1948, in Wheeling, WV, peacefully passed away in her hometown on March 11, 2024. She was a devoted homemaker for most of her life, pouring her heart and soul into creating a warm and loving home for her family.
Judy found joy and solace in the beauty of gardening, cultivating life and color in her surroundings. She was also a member of the TOPS Club and Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, where she found community and support.
At the age of 75, Judy Ann Fetty leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis Bernard and Eva Ervine (Yanak) Scherrer, and her beloved husband, Owen Lee Fetty. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Anna Marie Fetty; sister, Sharon Parks; and grandchildren, Alyssa Marie Slie, Renee Ann Slie, and Alexis Marie Slie.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling on Wednesday, March 20, with visitation hours from 2-4pm and 5-7pm, followed by a Life Celebrant Service officiated by Sarah Barickman at 7pm. A brief visitation will also be held on Thursday, March 21, from 10-11am, with interment to follow at Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens.
In her passing, Judith Ann Fetty leaves a legacy of kindness, warmth, and dedication that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. May her spirit live on in the memories and hearts of those she touched.
