Linda Kay (Little) Lash, 80, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on February 27, 2024, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Florence, KY, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Born on October 17, 1943 to the late Henry and Lavonne (Loy) Little, in Wheeling, WV, Linda lived a life full of love and devotion to her family.
Linda graduated from Warwood High School in 1961 then continued her education at the Ohio Valley General Hospital where she graduated in 1964 as a Registered Nurse. She was known for her compassionate care and unwavering commitment to helping others.
In her free time, Linda enjoyed playing tennis with her husband and friends, cherishing moments with her family, and greatly enjoyed gatherings with loved ones. Her enthusiasm for life and joyful spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, James Lash, Sr.; loving children, Kimberly Ann (Antonio) Leonardo and James (Frances) Lash, Jr.; and cherished grandchildren: Jeffrey Lash, Shane Lash, Evan Lash, Travis Leonardo, and Jesse Leonardo.
Viewing for Linda will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, WV, with a visitation on Friday, March 8th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A private graveside service for the immediate family will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11:00am. Linda will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched with her kindness and compassion.
