Willa Mae Gautschi Russell, "Billie," but to all who knew and loved her, she was Mema, 95, of Wheeling, WV, died Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
She was born November 28, 1928, in Martins Ferry, OH, daughter of the late Henry and Carrie Flouhouse Gautschi.
She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years, Fred Russell.
She is survived by her children, Peggy, Debbie, Jimmy, Karen and Jackie; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Buddy.
Services and interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, will be held at the convenience of the family.
