George Edward Lenz, Sr., 94, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
He was born in Bridgeport, OH on August 11, 1929, to the late Roy & Helen Redpath Lenz.
George was a retired truck driver of 35 years and a Veteran of the US Army Air Corp in the Korean War. A past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American Legion.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Lenz; his brother, Roy Lenz; and his son-in-law, Michael Lujano.
George is survived by three sons, George Lenz, Jr, Michael (Chris) Lenz, and PJ (Nikki) Lenz; four grandchildren, Chelsea Smith, Jesse Lenz, Lindsay Lenz, and Luke Lenz; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services. Interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion at https://www. legion.org/donate
