Gregory C. Estep, age 83, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
He was born February 10, 1941, in Proctor, WV, the son of the late Anthony and Beulah (Herrick) Estep.
He was a retired chemical operator from Bayer Chemical Company, he was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Holy Name Society. Greg enjoyed riding motorcycles, mostly Harleys.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Anita Louise "Peg" Estep in 2005.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa (Steven) Mullett of New Martinsville; a son Anthony "Tony" Estep of New Martinsville; Companion, Gloria Nice of Proctor; 6 brothers, David Estep of New Martinsville, Raymond Estep of Proctor, Jack (Ruth) Estep of New Martinsville, William Estep of New Martinsville, Michael (Joan) Estep, and Douglas (Suzanne) Estep; a sister Mary Rose Yoho all of Proctor; sister-in-law, Nancy (Tim) Bostaph of Corolla, NC, 4 grandchildren Jordan (Shawn) Gehring, Dallas Mullett, Stephenie (Caleb) Palmer, Marinda (Hunter) Demers; 6 great-grand- children, Liam Gehring, Lucas Gehring, Laney Gehring, Weston Palmer, Colter Palmer and Mabel Demers; extended family, Diana (Robert) Smith, Barbara (Joe) Cain, Sharon (Brady) Howell and Steve Wayman and their families; Special Buddy Keebler; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 751 Third St., New Martinsville, WV, with a Vigil Service Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 21 Rosary Road, New Martinsville, WV with Msgr. Kevin Quirk as celebrant.
Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park, New Martinsville, WV.
