Harold Rex Strawn, 86, of Valley Grove, WV, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born November 24, 1937 in Wheeling, WV, to the late Harold & Virginia Crawford Strawn.
Harold was a member of the Farm Bureau and a member of Stockman's Cattle Association.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Strawn; three sisters, JaneLou Lewton, Myrna Strawn, and Bonnie Evans; a son-in-law, Doug Jacobs; and his second wife, Rita Strawn.
He is survived by his five children, Rex Mitchell (Beth) Strawn, Beth Jacobs, Darla (Frank) Charlton, Christine (David) Hamm, Shelly (Terry) Wood; two brothers, George (Lynn) Strawn and Richard (Gigi) Strawn; a sister, Easter (Bert) Sligar; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Friday, April 5, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8pm, with funeral service on Saturday, April 6 at 10am, at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St.
Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311). Interment to follow at Mt View Cemetery in Dallas, WV.
