Karen E. Eisenhauer, age 68, of Estero, FL, formerly of Moundsville, WV, died Tuesday, April 9, 2024 in Gulf Coast Medical Center, Ft. Myers, FL.
She was born November 21, 1955 in Marshall County, WV the daughter of the late Rocco and Helen Filter Rich.
Karen graduated from John Marshall High School and Seton Hill College; was a retired research chemist, having worked for Lubrizol Chemical Company; and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Moundsville. She loved Fostoria, jewelry, shopping, and her cats; was very active in her Lighthouse Bay community, where she was Habour Club treasurer; was a wine connoisseur, and she traveled all over the world.
Karen was a very caring and compassionate person to all.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Eisenhauer.
She leaves behind many cousins and friends.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 9am until 10:30am at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville with Funeral Liturgy with Mass being celebrated at 11am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 610 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville with Fr. Priyesh Sebastian as celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Xavier or Fostoria Glass Society, 511 Tomlinson Ave., Moundsville, WV 26041.
Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
