Linda Smith Jackson, born on June 26, 1959, in Wheeling, West Virginia, peacefully passed away on March 31, 2024, in her hometown. At the age of 64, Linda left behind a legacy of love and kindness that touched the hearts of many.
She devoted her life to creating a warm and welcoming home as a dedicated homemaker. Linda found joy in simple pleasures and cherished moments spent with her loved ones. Her interests were varied, from passionately supporting the Pittsburgh Steelers to expressing her creativity through knitting crosses and diamond art. Linda's faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she found solace and strength in sharing love with those around her.
A faithful member of St. Paul's Evangelical Church of South Wheeling, Linda actively contributed to her community. She was a vibrant presence in her group, the "Crazy Girls," where she shared laughter and camaraderie with dear friends.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Jean Smith. She is survived by her loving companion, Tom Kannan of Wheeling, WV; her sister, Donna Black of Canada; and her loyal fur babies, Scooter Bug, Precious, and Evie.
Throughout her life, Linda cultivated numerous friendships that enriched her days. Special mentions include Sally and Robert Wadoski, Linda Foose, Lois Rizzo, Linda Mason, and many others who held a cherished place in her heart.
The funeral service and interment for Linda Jackson will be held on Friday, April 5th, commencing at 1:00 p.m. at Park View Memorial Gardens.
