Stanley M. Pacewicz, 101, loving brother and beloved uncle, died Saturday, April 13, 2024, at home in Wheeling.
Stanley was born on December 25, 1922, in McMechen, WV, the son of the late John and Michalina Pacewicz. He was an Army veteran of WWII and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Stanley was retired from Sears and a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Alice Malek and brother-in-law Anton Malek and two brothers Leo and Stephen. He is survived by his nephew Michael Malek and nieces Rita, Judith, and Michelle Malek.
Funeral arrangements will be private and interment will be at the convenience of the family. The family would like to thank Valley Hospice for their kindness and compassionate care of Stanley.
