Alice "Snipes" Finsley, age 70, of Windsor Heights, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at home.
She was born June 29, 1953 in Wheeling, daughter of the late Mauritz Hercules and Alice Honsaker.
Alice was a long time member and very active at the West Liberty Christian Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include her husband, of over 50 years, Junior Finsley; four daughters: Mary Finsley, Denise Waybright, Pamela Fleming and Amanda (Ryan) Smith; one son John (Becky) Finsley; one sister: Anne Hercules; 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous loved family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1 Ridgecrest Road, Bethlehem/Wheeling, and friends will also be received on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the West Liberty Christian Church, West Liberty, WV with Dennis Arnold officiating.
