Dennis "Denny" Allen Kopyar, 71, of Triadelphia, WV, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born on December 31, 1952, in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Peter & Lena Leithe Kopyar.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Johnie Kopyar.
Denny retired from Ogden Newspapers after many years of service. He was a member of Wheeling Lodge No.5 and a lifetime member of the Lewis Wetzel Rifle and Pistol Club.
Denny is survived by his significant other, Sylvia Szerszen, of Triadelphia, WV; his two daughters, Tracy Kopyar of Wheeling, WV and Tiffany Kopyar of Nashville, TN; his brother, Paul Kopyar of Friendswood, TX; Sylvia's son, Michael Szerszen of Granger, Indiana; and close friends, Jennifer & Dave, Scott, and Wanda & Bud.
Per Denny's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio County Animal Shelter, 7011 National Rd. Triadelphia, WV 26059.
