Hannah Elizabeth Woods, 16, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024, at her home with her family by her side.
She was born March 19, 2008 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the Timothy Jason and Elizabeth McCardle Woods.
She was a sophomore at John Marshall High School. Hannah attended Oak Grove United Methodist Church, and was a member of 4-H, Marshall County Swim Team, played cello with Marshall County Strings, archery at Moundsville Middle School, loved art, drawing and painting, drama and theater at John Marshall High School, and Moundsville Middle volleyball.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Rick Woods.
Survivors include her parents T.J. and Beth McCardle Woods of Moundsville, WV; sister, Gracie "Grey" Woods of Moundsville, WV; paternal grandmother, Nancy Woods of Moundsville, WV; maternal grandparents, Dave and Christine McCardle of Moundsville, WV; beloved cats, Inky, Tiger and Stormy; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 3-7 p.m. at the Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, WV, where the memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Don Rush officiating.
