James E. "Jim" Young, age 70 of Moundsville, WV died Thursday, May 16, 2024 in WVU Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV.
He was born August 26, 1953 in Glen Dale, the son of the late Leonard and Dorothy J. Maraskey Young.
He was a retired coal miner from McElroy Consolidated Coal; a member of UMWA, Moundville Country Club, and Elites Rod & Gun Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Jane Young; a brother, Ray Young; and a sister-in-law, Anna Marie Young.
Survivors include a sister, Phyllis (Larry) Lilley of Moundville; a step-daughter, Leslie Tedesco of Moundville; a granddaughter, Abbey Wable; four nieces, Jennifer Sanderson, Melissa (Michael) Wooleyhand, Amy (Justin) Lowe, and Heather (Tim) Huffman; an uncle, Roger Young; and several great nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Monday from 11am until time of Funeral Service at 1pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville with Pastor Don Rush officiating.

Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
