Marion Elizabeth Ernest Watkins, 80, of Wheeling, WV, died Friday, May 10, 2024 at Liza's Place.
She was born August 2, 1943, daughter of the late Frank and Helen Schroeder Ernest.
Marion was a graduate of B.M. Spurr School of Practical Nursing, retired from Mountain State Blue Cross Blue Shield after 30 years, was a member of the Eastern Star, Miriam Chapter 1 and a Methodist by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank and Fred Ernest; and a sister, Mildred Vance.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Watkins; daughter, Terri (Jameson Riddle) Watkins of Louisville, KY; a sister, Clara Myers of Glen Falls, NY; beloved pet, Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave., Wheeling (304-277-2722), where services will be held Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 11 AM.
Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the animal shelter of the donor's choice.
