McKennen, Patricia Louise Palkovic, 81, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Monday May 6, 2024 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born April 11, 1943, in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Richard and Clara F. Davis Palkovic.
Patricia was formerly employed at the warehouse at Sledds and was a former pastry chef at Oglebay. She was a Catholic by faith.
She was a wonderful baker and a sweetheart of a person. She was stubborn, caring, and strong.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry L. McKennen, Sr. in 1994; and an infant daughter, Lisa.
Patricia is survived by her three children, Jerry L. (Debi) McKennen, Jr., Scott McKennen & Shannon (Neal) Warren; brother, Richard Palkovic, Jr.; sister, Carol Koehler all of Wheeling, WV; grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Cody, Kylie, Brennen, Shane & Taylor; many nieces & nephews; and her dog, Missy.
Friends will be received on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 4 PM until the time of service at 6 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311) with Father Freddie D'Souza officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph's Indian School, 1301 N. Main Street, Chamberlain, SD 57325.
