Richard Carroll Jr., 74, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born on October 22, 1949, in Wheeling, WV to the late Richard Sr. & Dorothy Healy Carroll.
Richard went to the Ohio Northern University School of Pharmacy and was a retired Registered Pharmacist for 46 years. He was a member of the Warwood Vets, Snake Club, Elm Grove Eagles, Knights of Columbus, and Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Carroll, and his sister, Patricia Welling.
He is survived by his children, Courtney (Matt) Rush and Scott Carroll; two sisters, Cathy (Skip) Stewart and Judy (David) Langdon; a brother-in-law, Jack Welling; grandchildren, Hunter and Deegan Rush; one niece and several nephews.
Friends will be received on Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 12pm-8pm at Kepner Funeral Home/Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave. Wheeling. Mass will take place on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 11am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery will take place at the convenience of the family.
