Doris Duncil, 97, passed away on Saturday June 1, 2024 at her home.
She was born on November 29, 1926 daughter of the late Stephen Worth and Olive E. (Stiles) Johnson in Shinnston, WV.
She was a member of the Elm Grove Eagles Auxilary 1891, she served as President and was a Past President of the WV State Eagles Auxiliary. In addition to her Parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond "Ray" Duncil; sister Elma Row; 3 brothers, James, Stephen Jr., and Walter Johnson; grandson, Clinton David Taylor and very dear friend Larry Trank.
She is survived by, son, Stephen E. (Shelly) Duncil of Wheeling; 4 daughters, Carol Earliwine of Belmont, OH, Mary Wood of Wheeling, Paula Rae (Greg) Doyle of Bethlehem, WV and Ginger (Jeff) Taylor of Wheeling; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Valley Hospice, Melissa Jennings and special Doctor and dear friend, Dr. Robert Fanning
At her request there will be no visitation and no services. Interment in Park View Memorial Gardens.
