Veneida Krider Baker of Wheeling, WV passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV.
She was born on November 29, 1932 in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Harry A. Krider and Dorothy Braun Krider.
She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wheeling.
She is survived by her beloved husband of over 70 years, Joe; one sister, Phyllis "Flip" West; six children, Cheryl Wilson (Dan) of Wheeling, Michael Baker (Sue) of Wheeling, Holly Dolan (Mike) of Pittsburgh, PA, Julie Blust (Ray) of Wheeling, Kelly Baker of Washington, PA, and Mark Baker (Dayna) of Wheeling; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
She was a member of the Wheeling Hospital Auxiliary, Oglebay Garden Center, St. Vincent's Funeral Luncheon Committee and choir, and Seven Dolors Altar Society.
There will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 12:00 PM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 2244 Marshall Avenue, Wheeling, WV 26003.
Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
