William Robert "Bob" Hunt, 67 of Glen Dale, formerly of Moundsville, died Saturday, June 15, 2024 in Liza's Place.
He was born April 3, 1957 in Glen Dale; the son of the late William A. and Sarah Marie Conner Hunt.
Bob was a friend to more people than can be counted in a lifetime. He helped anyone in need. A devoted Christian man who served God all his days; he loved without judgment and saw good in everyone.
He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church; attended Simpson United Methodist Church, where he participated in Bible study; was a former board member for the Marshall County Chamber, a member of the Marshall Union Lodge #8 AF &AM and Moundsville Rotary.
Bob was former chief financial officer for Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Ohio Valley Medical Center, and Easter Seals in Wheeling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother, Daisy Conner.
Survivors include his loving sister, Betty Suhodolski and her son, Sammy (Sara) Suhodolski, a devoted and loving nephew; great-nephews Scout and Sawyer; siblings, Doris Jean Schwing and Peggy E. Murphy; special friends, Roger and Kathleen McCracken, Karen and Holly Woods.
The family expresses a deep thank you to all the angels at Liza's Place that help care for Bob. The staff became his friends in the short time he was at Liza's Place and he was grateful for their care.
Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
