Christopher Jay Marcellus, age 66, of Elm Grove, entered into rest on July 4, 2024 at WVU-Wheeling Hospital.
Chris gave in death, as he gave in life with an anatomical donation to WVU for research.
He was born February 7, 1958 son of the late W. Lee and Lillian Marcellus.
Chris always had a warm smile for everyone he met. He had a long career in the food service industry. He loved the outdoors, especially long walks on the golf course.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings: Valerie Cox in 1997, Jeff Marcellus in 2020 and Rebecca Winwood in 2023.
Survivors include his wife, of 36 years, Darcy Gardner Marcellus; daughter: Ashley Marcellus; grandson: Lincoln Jack; siblings: Brenda (Charlie) Witt, Bernie Marcellus and Paula Marcellus and many nieces and nephews.
As per Chris's request, there will be no funeral services. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Wheeling Health Right, 61-29th Street, Wheeling, WV 26003.
