Kathryn Jonell Carenbauer Byers, 72, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at home.
She was born December 31, 1951, daughter of the late Robert Anthony and Doris Raynelle Montes Carenbauer.
Kathy was a member of the Newbridge Vineyard Church and worked for 40 years at Hillcrest at OVMC. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and making stained glass.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a niece, Christina Ritchea.
She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Eugene Byers; children, Everett (Jessica) Byers and Olivia Byers; grandchildren, Mady, Ry, Aleah and Aubrey Byers and Alyx Moffitt; eight siblings, Janet Ritchea, Helen (Charlie) Gullo, Roberta (Brock) Castilow, Jule Carenbauer, Laurie (Pete) Storch, Laura (Patrick) Stanton, Tina (Tom) Hoyt and Jay (Janice) Carenbauer; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 10 AM until the time of memorial service at 11 AM at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling (304-242-2311).
