LAWRENCE RAYLE

Lawrence Walter "Pete" Rayle, 88, of Cameron, W.Va. passed away Saturday July 27, 2024, at Liza's Place.

Pete was born May 28, 1936, son of the late Edgar and Opal Durbin Rayle. He was a Protestant by faith.

A 1955 graduate of Cameron High School. A United States Air Force veteran. An avid hunter and fisherman and a huge Pittsburgh and WVU Fan. Retired from Hanlin Chemical Plant as a boiler operator with 20 years of services.

Pete was a husband, father, brother, grandfather, great- grandfather and loved spending time with his family, and most of all Lainey Jean.

Preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Larry and Gary Rayle; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Rayle; and sister, Phyllis Neely.

Survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Herma Jean Marshall Rayle; son, Brian Rayle of Moundsville, W.Va.; daughter, Donna (Donnie) Hall; one sister, Patricia Parriott all of Cameron, W.Va.; grandchildren, Trevor Hall of Wheeling, W.Va. and Lauren (Jeff) Yoho of Cameron, W.Va.; and great-granddaughter, Lainey Jean Yoho, who was the light of Pete's eye; some nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Tuesday July 30, 2024, from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. with Pastor Greg Knight officiating at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1109 2nd St., Moundsville, W.Va.
