Naomi Ruth Blair, 88, of New Martinsville, WV took the next step on her journey on Thursday, July 11, 2024 while at Continuous Care in Wheeling, WV.
Naomi was born July 30, 1935, in Clarksburg, WV daughter of the late Leslie B. and Ruth O. (Spencer) Postlethwait.
She was a bookkeeper for the former Viking Glass, Paden Memorial Gardens, New Martinsville Supply and Mahone Tires. Naomi enjoyed quilting, camping and working in the kitchen at the church. She was a member of New Martinsville United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Blair (2019); brother, Wayne Postlethwait; sister, Virginia Barrick and sister, Betty Klug.
Surviving are her three children, Mark (Roberta) Blair, Michael (Charlene) Blair and Kathi (Carl) Schmalz all of New Martinsville, WV; sister, Karen Mason of New Martinsville, WV; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-8 p.m., Monday, July 15, 2024 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at New Martinsville United Methodist Church, 10 Howard Jeffers Dr., New Martinsville, WV. Burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
