ROBIN GALLOWAY
Robin Hood Galloway, born on November 13, 1936, passed away peacefully in Wheeling, West Virginia, on June 29, 2024, at the age of 87.
Mr. Galloway devoted his working life to pharmaceutical sales, a career in which he excelled and earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike. His dedication extended beyond his professional life; he was a devout and spiritual Catholic, passionately involved with St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Robin loved automobiles, often spending his time working on them.
A proud veteran, Robin served both in the United States Navy then the Army. His commitment to his country was matched only by his dedication to his family. Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Joe and Norma Galloway, and his son, Kevin (Linda) Galloway, Robin is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Rosalie Jean Galloway. His legacy lives on through his children, Vandy (David) Holman and Keith (Cindy) Galloway; his cherished grandchildren, Kassandra Olgers and ? Kristen Katona; and his great-grandchildren, Hunter and Paisley Olgers.
Robin was not only a loyal husband and father but also a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather, who took immense pride in his family’s accomplishments and joys.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8th, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV 26003, culminating in the Service of the Rosary, the Franciscan Farewell and full Military Honors at 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass to honor and celebrate Robin’s life will be conducted at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 9th, at 10:00 am.
