Sharon A. Moore, age 76, of Glen Dale, WV passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV, surrounded by her family.
She was born October 19, 1947 in Wheeling, WV the daughter of the late Jack and Mary Etta McCombs.
Sharon was a woman of strong Catholic faith; a devoted wife and loving mother; and she was a Registered Nurse for 42 years who dedicated her life to helping others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John McCombs and Thomas McCombs; a sister, Etta Minor; sisters-in-law, Christine Moore and Clara "Sis" Moore; and her mother-in-law, Irene Moore.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Arthur "Pudge" Moore; two sons, Thomas (Rebecca) Moore and Arthur (Kelly) Moore; two daughters, Angela Moore and Tammy (Eric) Riding; a sister, Becky (Cliff) Cramer; grandchildren, Daniel, Brett, Dante, Jesse, Jace, Tyler, Amber and David; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday at 11am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 610 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marshall County Animal Shelter, 37 Animal Shelter Dr., Moundsville, WV 26041.
