Betty Idel Howard Baird, 95, of Wheeling, WV passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at home.
She was born June 13, 1929 in ate Merle & Bertha Henderson Howard.
Betty was a member of the Elm Grove Eagles Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, and playing cards. She belonged to a Bridge club and loved to play Euchre at the Eagles. Betty was also a sports fan and loved her Pittsburgh Steelers and WVU Mountaineers.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by an infant brother.
Betty is survived by her son, Ronald (Phyllis) Baird; her daughter, Pamela (Gordon) Keys; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311).
Funeral service will be Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11am at the same location, with Pastor Debra Dague officiating. Interment will follow at Mt View Cemetery in Dallas.
