Donald "Don" Breiding, age 85, of Wheeling, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024 at WVU-Wheeling Hospital.
He was born August 6, 1938 son of the late Lawrence and Agnes Hillwig Breiding.
Don was a retired manager/VP from Electrical Contractors Supply Co. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, the P.A.P Club and the IOLA Club. He enjoyed golfing and his grandkids were the world to him.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, of 47 years, Sally Mazur Breiding, two sons: Donnie (Beth) Breiding of McMurray, PA and Mike (Tammy) Breiding of Wheeling; one daughter: Kristin (Jimmy) Snider of Jacobsburg, OH; six grandchildren: Adyson and Edyn Breiding, Easton Breiding and Tyler Shivar, and Kamdin and Kaden Snider; two great grandchildren: Brylee and Lincoln and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from 3-7pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1 Ridgecrest Road, Bethlehem/Wheeling where funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 9:00am with Deacon Doug Breiding officiating.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
