Joseph Edward "Ed" Stewart, born on November 12, 1950, in Wheeling, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2024, at the age of 73, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Wheeling,
Ed was a dedicated and hardworking individual who spent over 34 years as a Purchasing Agent at West Liberty University. A man of faith, he was a longstanding member of Elm Grove United Methodist Church.
Services to honor and celebrate Ed's life will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, on Friday, August 23, 2024. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Reverend Debra Dague. A private interment will follow at Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens.
