KATHY PAULUS

Kathryn M. Paulus, 76, of Wheeling passed away peacefully at Wheeling Hospital on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Catherine Paulus; two sisters, Pam Mendrick and Carol Novak; and her niece, Patty Parker. She is survived by one niece, Judy (Steve) Semancik; and two nephews, John and Michael (Ariana) Novak; as well as two great-nieces, one great-nephew, three great-great-nephews and one great-great-niece. Kathy is also survived by many friends who enriched her life.

Kathy was retired from Ohio County Schools where she taught mathematics at both the middle and high school levels. She then transitioned to teaching computer science and finished her career as the Technology Coordinator for Ohio County Schools. She was an avid bridge player, a dedicated member of the Women's Club of Wheeling and a crafter.

Friends will be received at Mount Calvary Cemetery Bishop's Chapel, Wheeling, Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 10 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am, with Rev. Jeeson V. Stephan as celebrant. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum at Mount Calvary.
